Do untainted children
Vomit gold?
Their undreamt voices
But dreams in the winds?
Do the squint-eyed ones
Possess a double-sight
Of gleaming mountains
And copper serpents?
Why
Their hale and lofty songs
Like ghostly cries hidden
In palms reborn tenfold?
